Until the 20th century, Aravaca was a municipality on the outskirts of Madrid, on the right bank of the Manzanares River, next to the course of the Pozuelo stream. Its function as a hamlet, located at the top of a hill between the royal hunting reserves of Monte de El Pardo and Casa de Campo, means that its neighbors continue to enjoy lush green spaces. Today, to access the city from this quiet area it is enough to take the metro, the bus or the Cercan\u00edas (which arrives in 15 minutes to Atocha Renfe).<\/p>\n\n
