class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There is a definition of <strong>business tourism<\/strong> known as <strong>MICE tourism (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions). <\/strong>This type of tourism is included within the business sector and is focused on people who must make a trip to carry out work or professional activities.<\/p>\n<p>In this sense, professionals attend congresses, business meetings, conventions, incentive trips and the like.<\/p>\n<p>This type of tourism left in Spain during 2019 a total figure of<strong> 7,000 million euros.<\/strong> Throughout Spain, 29,603 meetings and congresses were held, which represented a 14.7% increase over the 2018 period.<\/p>\n<p>The total number of participants (national and international) reached 4.7
