We suggest <strong>a route where you can enjoy national and international cultural<\/strong> gems:<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<h2>\n<h2><strong>The Picasso Museum<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<\/h2>\n<p><strong>There\u2019s nothing like starting with the<\/strong> <strong>museum dedicated to this amazing artist<\/strong><strong>, who came from this city and was an advocate for the existence of this<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.museopicassomalaga.org\/\">cultural space<\/a>. You can see <strong>233 of Picasso\u2019s works distributed in 11 rooms<\/strong>, through which you can explore 80 years of his artistic life.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The museum is <strong>located in the Palacio de los Condes de Buenavista.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Open from Monday to Sunday at 10:00.<\/strong> The closing hours vary depending on the season: at 20:00 in July and August, at 18:00 between November and February and at 19:00 the rest of the year. Admission is free on Sundays after 18:00.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Museo_Casa_Natal_de_Picasso\"><\/span><strong>The Museo Casa Natal de Picasso<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The best way to learn a bit more about Picasso. Very close to the Picasso Museum, in the Plaza de la Merced, is the artist\u2019s birthplace. There you can admire<strong> sketches of many of his well-known paintings<\/strong>, such as <em>Las Se\u00f1oritas de Avignon<\/em>, as well as a large number of his personal belongings. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Open every day from 9:30 to 20:00<\/strong>, including public holidays. Except on 24th and 31st December, when it opens until 15:00, and on 1st January and 25th December, when it\u2019s closed.<\/p>\n<h2>\n<h2><strong>Museo Carmen Thyssen<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>Located in the <strong>Villal\u00f3n Palace<\/strong>, it\u2019s considered to be one of the <strong>best museums in Malaga<\/strong>. An impressive tour of Andalusian and Spanish painting between the 19th and 20th centuries. The collection has <strong>285 permanent works belonging to the baroness widow Carmen Thyssen<\/strong>, as well as other temporary exhibitions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>It opens from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00 and 20:00<\/strong>, except 25th December and 1st January 1, when it\u2019s closed. Admission is free on Sunday afternoons.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<h2>\n<h2><strong>The Russian Museum of St. Petersburg<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coleccionmuseoruso.es\/\">State Russian Museum<\/a> is located in the <strong>old tobacco factory in Malaga<\/strong>. It contains an <strong>impressive collection of Russian artefacts<\/strong> dating from the fifteenth to the twentieth centuries. In addition, it has an auditorium, projection rooms and reading rooms where various <strong>activities for all ages are held<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>It opens from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:30 to 20:00<\/strong>, except 25th December and 1st January. It can be visited for free on Sundays after 16:00.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Other museums, such as the <strong>Pompidou Centre<\/strong> or the <strong>Centre for Contemporary Art<\/strong>, also give you the opportunity to enjoy the finest art and also make Malaga a city where you can live <strong>a unique cultural experience<\/strong> through its museums.
